Preparing to Celebrate Diwali

This week, we have been learning about the Sikh religion and Diwali. We made diyas, using flour dough and then painted them, ready for lighting using oil and a wick. Since 4 of our class (and Mrs Barker) were absent on Friday, we will be doing this when we return to school after half term.

What a very busy week!

So – we have had rain, sun and hailstones this week, along with lots of learning.  The children have been singing together in assembly, as well as getting ready for the last week of the half term. We had our Information Session this week, which was hopefully useful – information to foll
