We recapped our knowledge of 3D shapes today and then went on a shape hunt in the woods. Mrs Kilpatrick was very good at hiding them!
Mrs Barker set classes across the school a challenge to work out the seating positions of the children in Y4 by following some clues. We first looked at positional language and then used this to help us work out the answers. We finally popped into Y4 to check whether we correct. A great activity!
We made 3D maps of mythological lands to help us plan our myths this morning.
We have been learning about superlatives in our English lessons. Here are a few photos of us imagining the powers that our friends might have if they were mythological heroes.

We shared some books with Y6 and Reception children. We finished our afternoon with a lovely story from ‘Secret Reader’ Mrs Tustin!
We have been practising our speech punctuation by writing Paddington Bear stories. Today we shared them on the bus.
Year 3 have been studying electricity with Mrs Bramley. To finish the topic, they created some superb lighthouses which they shared with families on Wednesday.
Year 3 have been learning about formal letters and wrote some very neat letters to their favourite authors. We posted them in a local post box, accompanied by the Reception class children.
