Year 3 have created a number of artefacts during their Victorian topic lessons and wanted to share them with their families and classes across the school. They held a Great Exhibition last Monday. Here are a few photos:
Year 4 invited Year 3 to a book tasting to celebrate Empathy Day. Y4 shared a range of books which had excellent examples of empathy situations. Our class loved the experience and found a few new books to read. Thank you to Mr Ritson and Year 4 for inviting us!
Year 3 have been exploring the work of Lewis Carroll with Mr Herbert as part of our Victorian topic. Here is a video of the class performing The Jabberwocky! What superstars! https://quik.gopro.com/v/l1vKYGr3FF/
In our Forest School session this week, we practised using different tools to complete a number of measuring challenges. We had to decide which tool was appropriate for each challenge: ruler, metre stick or trundle wheel. We then used the information that we collected to answer some maths questions.
