We had our first Magic 10 session in Year 3 today and I was incredibly impressed by the persistence of the children. Their work was very neat too- what super stars!
Today, Y3 spent some time trying out a range of musical instruments. It seems that we have a lot of musically minded children in our class and I am hoping that several will want to learn a new instrument after the session today. Here are just a few pictures…

Year 4 invited Year 3 to a book tasting to celebrate Empathy Day. Y4 shared a range of books which had excellent examples of empathy situations. Our class loved the experience and found a few new books to read. Thank you to Mr Ritson and Year 4 for inviting us!
This week we made some ‘Worry Monsters’ to help us when we are worried about something.

In our Forest School session this week, we practised using different tools to complete a number of measuring challenges. We had to decide which tool was appropriate for each challenge: ruler, metre stick or trundle wheel. We then used the information that we collected to answer some maths questions.
